We asked to get chopped brisket to take to our son’s house warming party and even though they didn’t have it on the menu they were very accommodating and chopped some for us. Some of the best bbq we’ve had.
Delicious homestyle authentic BBQ. Had chicken, brisket, ribs, potato salad & beans. Outside picnic table atmosphere.

The brisket tastes really good!! It's chewy but also tender. It is not heavy but with enough flavor.
Stopped here in purpose and was not disappointed.
This was my 4th or 5th time to get food here. Meat was great, I specifically asked for fatty brisket and MAN it was out of sight. The accompanying potato salad had a little sweet lean to it which worked perfectly with the beans and meat and BBQ sauce. Wasn't too impressed with my past visits, but this one totally blew my skirt up. Looking forward my next visit.
The smoked smell here is fantastic!! The chopped beef potato is HUGE!! The ribs potato was flavorful but not nearly as good as the beef, at least on this day. The ribs had good flavor, don't get me wrong but the beef was tender, juicy, seasoned well and loaded on the potato. The ladies in the kitchen worked fast! A great lunch stop for sure!
When I drove up Check prices. Thought to be expensive. I ordered chopped sandwich. Let me tell you it was well worth the money and most of all I believe the best I ever had. Plenty of meat and sauce. Do not try driving and eating. Not much of a place. Outside picnic table. Appears rundown. But these places carry the best. Next to try is stuff potato.
